Pairing with Bluetooth BLE
There are two possible way to connect to a BLE device:
By using the RGT App.
By using the RGT Remote App.
BLE service does not work while the RGT App is in the background (out of focus).
RGT App and RGT Remote App on the same device is not supported.
Connecting to a BLE device using the RGT App
Please make sure that BLE is enabled on your device, check permissions to make sure that RGT App also has access to BLE services (location services for Android).
Menu → Sensors → Toggle the BLUETOOTH LE switch to ON
Once the devices are found, toggle the switches for Power/Cadence/Control to ON
Connecting to a BLE device using the RGT Remote
Please make sure that BLE is enabled on your mobile device, check permissions to make sure that RGT App also has access to BLE services (location services for Android).
When MOBILE BLE is in use, the BLE is handled by the mobile device where the RGT Remote App is installed.
With the RGT Remote App open on your mobile device, toggle the MOBILE BLE switch to ON
Speed sensors over BLE are not currently supported, however they are supported over ANT:
Speed Sensors
ANT USB Dongle - Is required to be plugged into your screen device (MacOS/Windows) in order for RGT to be able to connect to your ANT compatible device (we do not support ANT connections done through mobile devices that are ANT compatible, or any other ANT mobile attachments).
Instructions
Start RGT Cycling, navigate to Menu → Sensors and set the ANT+ toggle to ON.
Connect to the devices seen in the list by setting the according device toggle switches to ON.
If the ANT is not detected this means another resource is likely using the ANT service. Please end all other background applications that are using the service and re-start RGT Cycling.
CONNECTING TO JUST THE POWER OF A TRAINER, OR TO A POWER METER
(where you want to see just the power of the trainer and maybe have another app control the trainer's resistance) please only toggle the switch under POWER category to ON:
In case your ANT USB Dongle is not being detected by Windows at all, please download the following driver and try manually installing it.
